The new La Sportiva Python is here!
The Python is a climbing shoe that was specifically designed for competition climbing. Although, it has not been boxed in. You will see it bouldering and sport climbing around the world on all types of vertical and steep rock types. Being a slipper, the La Sportiva Python is super sensitive and soft. You feel everything that’s going on so you can be sure you’re standing in the right place.
So what makes it good for competition climbing anyway? Well apart from its maximum sensitivity, the Python is geared towards heel hooking and performance on reverse holds (think toe hooks) which often present the biggest foot work challenges in modern climbing competitions.
Basically if you like technical climbing, the La Sportiva Python is everything you need and nothing you don’t. It’s light and simple but with a killer last and rubber in all the right places.
